One 1944-1956 minute book of the Portsmouth, Virginia chapter of the International Molders' and Foundry Workers' Union of North America, local union number 278. The minutes are usually recorded monthly, although meetings from 1944 and 1945 were usually held bi-monthly. Special meetings held are also recorded throughout the minute book.
