Thirty-five negatives taken July 5, 1959 showing street views of areas in and around downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Streets included in the images include Grace Street, 10th Street, North Street, Granby Street, Olney Road, York Street, Yarmouth Street, Bute Street, Botetourt Street, Duke Street, Boush Street, and Tazewell Street. Businesses identified in the negatives include Joynes Tire Company, Colonial Chevrolet, Midway Furniture, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Pep Boys, Frank Vann's Restaurant, Baylor Picture Frame Corporation, The Carriage House, Stein's Clothiers, Continental Restaurant, Seaboard Loans, F. K. Carlon & Company, Aladdin Neon Sign Company, and F. H. Gaskins Company. There are also images identified as showing Campbell's Wharf and old ferry dock.
