Scope and Contents
A record book to Fanny Wilson Tardy from her cousin Louise Niemeyer Fontaine dated March 8, 1963, including a photograph of John Adams Chandler (1785-1848) of Norfolk, Virginia, who was a Commonwealth's Attorney in his professional career and President of the Bank of Virginia in Portsmouth. The record book documents family genealogy of the Chandler family and includes family trees and charts. Copies of an indenture dated 1802 and a handwritten obituary of John Adams Chandler are also included. Associated family names are Calvert, Woodward, Hill, Collins, Niemeyer, Hardy, Rosser, Woodhouse, Wilson, Harwood, Lawson, Thoroughgood, and Sayre.
