Eight photographs of Mrs. Froehlich's 1st or 2nd grade classes at Norfolk Public Schools in Norfolk, Virginia. The first four photographs were taken circa 1955-1970 and include students sitting at their desks with Mrs. Froehlich sitting in the back. The remaining four photographs are Mrs. Froehlich's students at Coleman Place Elementary School for the years 1974-1975, 1975-1976, 1976-1977, and 1977-1978.

The typed caption attached to the back of the photograph reads, "Armed United States sailors boarded the Russian steamship Omsk at Norfolk, Va. and arrested the crew on the charge of mutiny. The ship was run on Bolshevik principles of community management but the crew finally got beyond control of the ship's officers who called on the authorities at Norfolk for help. It is the same...

Fifty circa 1900-1960 family photographs featuring the Boren, Felce, and Willingham families, primarily in Ocean View, Norfolk, Virginia. Many of the photographs were taken of or by Anthony Felce in the late 1950s and early 1960s and feature a plane crash on Granby Street and various scenes of Ocean View.
