Thirty-four circa 1900 photographs of individuals, families, other groups, a gravesite, a horse-drawn carriage, and school classes primarily in Norfolk, Virginia. Most of the photographs feature one subject or a small family group. Also, two oversized portraits of unidentified young girls.

Sixteen circa 1940s photographs of groups at the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Two photographs identify Helen, Alease, and Lillian/Lilly Marlene in front of The Atwater. The Boardwalk is visible in most of the other photographs, and some photographs were taken on the beach in front of The Pocahontas. One circa 1950s-1960s photograph was taken of two women wearing dresses and heels standing in front of The Tides.

Circa 2006 negatives of the Lafayette Motor Hotel and construction site of Tanner's Landing on Llewellyn Avenue at the Granby Street Bridge in the Riverview section of Norfolk, Virginia. There are also images of two individuals each sitting in front of a Christmas tree inside a home.

Photographs of parade floats from the 45th International Azalea Festival in 1998 that passed by on Granby Street primarily between Charlotte Street and Bute Street in Norfolk, Virginia. There are also photographs of Queen Azalea Helena Winther from Denmark and her court standing in front of the United States Post Office and Courthouse building at 600 Granby Street.

Thirteen negatives dated 1941 featuring the aftermath of snowfall on Botetourt Street in Norfolk, Virginia. The images include slushy streets, snow-covered cars, the exterior of an antiques store, and a kitchen interior.

The photographs include two images of the pond with waterfowl and tiered fountain in the center, interior and exterior shots of the greenhouse, and a caged bear. The photographs were created from the five negatives that accompany the collection.
