Official records from the Norfolk Circuit Court Clerk's Office in Norfolk, Virginia. The collection consists of 317 volumes divided into three sections: General Index to Deeds (1916-1981), Charter Books (1915-1988), and General Index to Marriages (1853-1997). The deeds are divided into two parts: Grantors (1923-1981) and Grantees (1916-1981). Grantee books are labeled with volume numbers, No. 30-47. The charter books are labeled with volume numbers, No. 19-171. Charter books No. 19-82 include date ranges on each volume. The marriages are divided into two parts: Males and Females.
