Large-scale prints from an aerial photographic mission flown over the city of Norfolk on March 22, 1974. The prints are arranged by frame number and bound in nine large books. The Abrams Aerial Survey Corporation of Lansing, Michigan conducted the mission. The prints are scaled at 1 inch = 100 feet.

Included are histories of massive resistance and the related closures of Norfolk Public Schools during 1958-1959, records of the city commission created to mark these events 50 years later, records of various public events, correspondence, and news clippings.
