1959 Norfolk Elections and Desegregation Scrapbook
One circa 1959 scrapbook of newspaper clippings relating to Reid Spencer's campaign for state senate, Alex H. Bell's assumption of Norfolk City Treasurer duties, and the desegregation of public schools in Norfolk, Virginia. Also included are copies of letters between Norman Olitsky and Louis S. Hudgins concerning Alex H. Bell's support of Reid Spencer on city time.
