Printed ephemera from 1920-2014 collected by the City of Norfolk in Norfolk, Virginia. Subject matter includes city government, economic development, business and commerce, redevelopment, and local elections.

Correspondence, blank forms, promotional materials, news releases, public service spot announcements, and clippings related to the Norfolk Voter Registration Council and the Norfolk Committee for Neighborhood Voter Registration. Most documents in this collection are dated 1966, but the Norfolk Committee for Neighborhood Voter Registration covers 1967 and 1968. These materials relate largely to promoting voter registration in Norfolk, Virginia.

One circa 1902-1930 scrapbook of newspaper clippings, correspondence, certificates, business cards, handwritten search warrants, and lists of police officers on duty, relating to Norfolk police detective Paul L. Rose of Norfolk, Virginia. Topics in the scrapbook include murderer Leo Cuthbert Thurman, politics, and crime. The scrapbook spans the career of Paul Rose as a detective and primarily includes clippings of crimes in the Norfolk area.
