Booklets, brochures, guidebooks, postcards, reports, commemorative coins and plates, official publications, and other miscellaneous printed ephemera relating to the celebration of America's 400th anniversary in Jamestown, Virginia. The collection also includes materials relating to other events in the Hampton Roads region in 2007.

Correspondence, photographs, clippings, and other materials originally belonging to Edwin Robeson MacKethan, Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia. Topics are separated by theme: A. history of Norfolk banks, B. tunnels, bridges, and highways, C. other career items, D. banking, especially when MacKethan was President of the Trust Division of the American Bankers Association, and E. MacKethan's campaign for election to the Virginia House of Delegates. Most of the materials date from the 1950s to 1971.

Membership records, rosters, constitutions and bylaws, meeting minutes, secretary records, correspondence, newsletters, and awards from the Norview Lions Club. This collection also contains fliers from club fundraising events and records about the club’s involvement with national organizations for the disabled. Other records detail George T. Byrd, Jr.’s presidency of the Norview Lions Club and the Youth Exchange Program.
