Scope and Contents Photographs of courthouses taken between 1977 and 1989 representing all 95 existing counties of Virginia. There are also courthouse photographs of former Warwick (Newport News), Nansemond (Suffolk), and Norfolk (present day Portsmouth) counties in this collection. There are no courthouse photographs for Elizabeth City (Hampton) or Princess Anne (Virginia Beach) counties.
