The dances and celebrations were held at various locations in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Portsmouth, Virginia.

The collection also includes the charter of incorporation, bylaws, annual statements from 1945-1952, and miscellaneous meeting minutes from 1978-1981. Most of the documents are typed and pasted directly into the ledgers/minute books. Many of the meeting minutes are signed.
