Sargeant Memorial Collection Norfolk Ephemera Collection
Contains a variety of ephemeral materials relating to Norfolk history and culture. Prominent subjects in the collection include Biographies, Buildings, Businesses, Churches, Clubs and Organizations, Colleges, Museums (especially the Chrysler Museum), Neighborhoods, and Schools. The bulk of the materials are from the 1950s-1980s, although there is a strong representation of materials dating from the 1920s to 2014.

The "Organizations" series is comprised of materials, such as meeting minutes and agendas, projects, newsletters, booklets, and fliers from individual local and regional organizations in the Tidewater area of Virginia. These include the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, Inc.-Hampton Roads Chapter, the African American Historical Society Portsmouth, and the Mariner's Museum.
