Byrd, Jr.’s presidency of the Norview Lions Club and the Youth Exchange Program.

Correspondence, organizational minutes, yearly pilgrimage ephemera, photographs, and scrapbooks related to the Order of Cape Henry from 1924 to 1986.

Personal correspondence, newspaper clippings, programs, magazines, conference materials, ephemera, and scrapbooks belonging to Roy B. Martin, Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia. Boxes 2 and 3, and Scrapbook 2 in Box 4 primarily relate to General Douglas MacArthur and the MacArthur Memorial. Scrapbooks 1 and 3 through 8 cover Roy Martin's life, particularly his political career, professional development, and public service for the City of Norfolk.

Prominent subjects in the collection include Biographies, Buildings, Businesses, Churches, Clubs and Organizations, Colleges, Museums (especially the Chrysler Museum), Neighborhoods, and Schools. The bulk of the materials are from the 1950s-1980s, although there is a strong representation of materials dating from the 1920s to 2014.

Minutes, correspondence, booklets, official programs, maps, and miscellaneous materials relating to the Yorktown Sesquicentennial Celebration in 1931 in Yorktown, Virginia. Organizations represented in the collection include Trustees of the Yorktown Sesquicentennial Association, Assembly of Tidewater Virginia Women, and Norfolk Area Yorktown Committee. Several items appear to have belonged to Mrs. Frantz Naylor of Norfolk, Virginia.
