Accounting ledgers for a general store in Branchville, Virginia from mid-1948 through mid-1951. The ledgers include names of individuals, goods sold, and costs of items. Most entries are handwritten in pencil and have been marked or crossed out.
David Pender Grocery Company Collection
Four letters with David Pender Grocery Company letterhead and two 1935 photographs. Two of the letters are dated 1932 and 1935 respectively and briefly discuss luncheons. The two photographs were originally attached to the second letter; one was signed by Jack Dempsey, and the other features men from the luncheon.

The invoices, receipts, and correspondence were sent to Paul C. Cameron, a planter from Hillsboro, North Carolina.
