Autographs

Autographs collected of various individuals between 1803 and 1935. Many of the autographs are from writers, poets, novelists, actors, and other historical figures.

One 1977 yearbook of Kemps Landing School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The yearbook contains autographs and comments from friends.

One 1901 autograph album containing signatures of 112 members of the Virginia Constitutional Convention, along with the geographic places each member represented. The first page of autographs list the officers of the 1901 Virginia Constitutional Convention: President John Goode, Secretary Joseph Button, and Vice President William A. Anderson.

Three diaries ranging from February 1, 1878 to March 18, 1893 and belonging to W. S. Dunford of Bowers Hill, Virginia. Each volume is precluded by the title "Account of time." The brief daily entries primarily include Dunford's weather observations, while sometimes including chores, travels from home, and significant daily events. The front and back inside covers of each volume include simple poems and quotations, along with autographs.
