Seaboard Air Line Railroad Ledgers
Two ledgers of the Seaboard Air Line Railroad Company, headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia. The first ledger labeled "Seniority List" is dated 1914-1919 and includes an alphabetical listing of employees (with index) and their personnel records. The second ledger is dated 1932-1946 and is a maintenance record. Entries range according to a numerical sequence: RFA's V-900 to V-2089, and each entry typically includes geographic location and notes of improvements to be made.
