More than 1,200 electronic files dating between 1972 and 2018 of the Tidewater Bicycle Association in Hampton Roads, Virginia. The files include agendas, articles of incorporation, bylaws, clippings, financial summaries, logo designs, membership applications, newsletters, photographs, and promotional materials. There are also histories of the organization and a list of contributors who are credited with compiling the collection.

One 1956-1960 scrapbook relating to events and activities of the Tidewater District PTA in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Specific geographic areas mentioned in the scrapbook include Norfolk, Norfolk County, Portsmouth, and Suffolk. The scrapbook includes clippings, correspondence, photographs, programs, and other materials. Subject matter includes federal school funding, massive resistance, educational workshops, and PTA meetings.

Two 1959-1961 scrapbooks from the Tidewater District Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs. Also known as The Federation of Garden Clubs of Norfolk & Vicinity, Inc., the scrapbooks include an alphabetical collection of pages from local garden clubs in the Hampton Roads region. Each page is unique, consisting of paintings, drawings, magazine clippings, newspaper clippings, poems, yearly summation of activities, lists of officers and members, mottos, and poems.

Sixteen circa 1940s photographs of groups at the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Two photographs identify Helen, Alease, and Lillian/Lilly Marlene in front of The Atwater. The Boardwalk is visible in most of the other photographs, and some photographs were taken on the beach in front of The Pocahontas. One circa 1950s-1960s photograph was taken of two women wearing dresses and heels standing in front of The Tides.

Correspondence relating to the 61st and final reunion of United Confederate Veterans in Norfolk, Virginia. The collection includes financial, publicity, and organizational documents in relation to planning the 1951 reunion, particularly from the Convention Bureau of the Norfolk Association of Commerce. There is also a clippings scrapbook of the 1951 United Confederate Veterans reunion accompanying the collection.

The scrapbooks include newspaper clippings, photographs, correspondence, brochures, newsletters, and other materials. Scrapbook 1 includes signatures and addresses of founding members of the Lafayette Yacht Club. Most of the subject matter of the scrapbooks focus on events and social activities engaged in by club members.
