Custodial History
The first volume includes an undated bookplate indicating it is a gift from Robert P. Howard. The second volume was presented to the Sargeant Memorial Room by John Summerfield Jenkins, Jr. An article from The Virginian Pilot on October 22, 1967 details the transfer.
