Scope and Contents
Genealogy research consisting primarily of photocopies from the 1980s-2000s relating to families in Virginia Beach, Virginia and surrounding areas. Some family surnames include Adams, Bass, Beasley, Bonney, Cherry, Congleton, Frederick, Keeling, McCoy, Midyette, Petree, Waterfield, West, and Woodhouse. The collection includes genealogical charts, family histories, excerpts from secondary sources, correspondence, handwritten notes, copies of official documents, and photocopies of primary source records. Several of the family histories were compiled by Melinda Jones Lukei of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
