Scope and Contents
Thirty-seven cabinet cards and carte-de-visite taken by photographers in Richmond and Norfolk, Virginia, and one card photograph from Salt Lake City, Utah. Photographers include, from Richmond: New York Art Gallery, M. J. Powers, Richmond Photography Co., and Vernon Portrait Gallery; from Norfolk: B. S. Campbell, J. H. Faber, and Faber & Friese. Most of the cards in this collection are not captioned. One Norfolk cabinet card identifies Charles E. Scott, 10 Reservoir Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia on verso, and another Norfolk cabinet card picturing an infant is labeled "Mr. and Mrs. C. Scott" on verso.
