Norfolk Community Chest Fundraising Photographs
Scope and Contents
Forty-nine circa 1951-1955 photographs from fundraising events of the Norfolk Community Chest, including the Uptown Division and Women's Division in Norfolk, Virginia. Fundraising took place in October of each year. Photographs were taken by the United States Army, United States Navy, and Photo Craftsmen, Inc. Some photographs include names of headlines and dates that correspond to inclusion in local newspapers such as the Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch.
