Five maps: one 2000 map of North Carolina and four 1980s-1990s maps of Southeastern Virginia, including Southampton, Isle of Wight, and Sussex Counties. The collection also includes two bulletins commemorating the 170th and 180th anniversaries of Great Fork Baptist Church in Suffolk, Virginia.

It is divided into three main sections: general Virginia subjects; Virginia counties; and Virginia cities, towns and places. Each section is organized into sub-topics as appropriate. The collection also includes a section on North Carolina and several other states.
