Scope and Contents
The Virginia Ephemera Collection includes a broad range of informational publications, media reports, government documents, maps, and historical records, all relating to Virginia topics and localities outside the City of Norfolk. There are three major sections: general subjects (such as the arts, education, and transportation); counties (including economic and demographic data, places of interest, histories, and other information); and cities, towns and places (including histories, attractions, and other information). The collection also includes some North Carolina materials and genealogical information from several nearby states.
