One 1800s handwritten cookbook filled with recipes for breads, cakes, puddings, pies, cookies, and pickles. The cookbook also contains a remedy for the summer complaint and a clipping on poisons and antidotes.

One 170-page record book containing handwritten transcriptions of court records primarily from the Corporation Court of the City of Norfolk and the Circuit Court of Norfolk County, Virginia. The circa 1870s-1880s transcriptions were written in pencil and in ink and appear to be written by various individuals. The first several pages include pasted clippings featuring auction sales, legal notices, commissioner's sales, and trustee's sales in Norfolk, Virginia.
