Amelia E. Hitchings Collection on Ruby Martha Etheridge
Primarily includes papers from the 1990s collected or written by Amelia E. Hitchings relating to her mother, Ruby Martha Etheridge. The papers relate to Etheridge's life and character, mostly as remembered by her daughter. A majority of materials are photocopies and include handwritten and typed correspondence, certificates, clippings, and published materials.

Flash-Lights from Headquarters of the Army of Northern Virginia Photocopies
One-hundred thirty pages of photocopies featuring Lieutenant Colonel Walter H. Taylor's Flash-Lights from Headquarters of the Army of Northern Virginia and approximately 76 photocopied documents and research notes relating to Taylor. Most of the research notes are transcriptions and some of the transcription notes have been written on the photocopied manuscripts. The date of the original materials is primarily 1862 to 1865.
Louisa Venable Kyle Collection
Two 1950s clipping scrapbooks of articles written by Louisa Venable Kyle of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The collection also includes a Kyle-Venable Family book of origins featuring genealogical research and photographs of ancestral homes and plantation houses, compiled by Louisa Venable Kyle in Summer 1968. There are also writings of and about Louisa Venable Kyle dating from 1950-1990 in the collection.
