Primarily 1930s correspondence from Mary Hope Harcum at State Teachers College in Fredericksburg, Virginia to her mother, Christie Barker Harcum, at 1055 Hanover Avenue in the neighborhood of Larchmont in Norfolk, Virginia. Also included are greeting cards, two photographs, a 1931-1932 program card, two small calendars dated 1931 and 1932, a recipe for plain cake, two obituaries, and a January 1922 clipping from The Woman's Magazine.

Scope and Contents Poems by Mary Eldredge Howell from approximately 1907 to 1946. The collection contains both handwritten and typescript copies of her poems, with typescript materials frequently cross-referenced to the four handwritten composition books. Also, one September 1936 - May 1941 minute book from the Writers' Club of Norfolk and one 1899-1907 photograph album. Scope and Contents This collection contains 10 yearbooks from the Woman’s Club of Norfolk from 1925-1927 and 1940-1954 and two yearbooks from the Junior Woman’s Club of Norfolk from 1948-1950. Included are three annual reports for 1922-1924 and two copies of the club's biennial report for 1927-1928 and 1929-1930. The collection also includes a souvenir program booklet for round table events sponsored by the Woman’s Club of Norfolk and overseen by the organization’s department of literature chairman, Mrs. F.
