The book has been disassembled and several sheets are missing. The content includes "A Sketch of Norfolk and Vicinity," and primarily includes circa 1895 prints of notable local places.

Forty-five slides taken in the 1970s-1980s primarily featuring scenes in the Huntersville neighborhood of Norfolk, Virginia. Other places identified in the slides include Ocean View Amusement Park and the Campostella and Berkley neighborhoods in Norfolk, Virginia.

The collection consists of approximately 21,000 35mm color photographic slides of various neighborhoods and development projects around Norfolk, Virginia. Also covered are historical sites around the city, copy images of historical drawings and photographs, informational presentations, maps, and NRHA meetings and events. Most slides date from 1960-1990, although historical content dates to circa 1900-1920.

Two 1943-1946 order books listing ships and dates as recorded by the Norfolk Shipbuilding & Drydock Corporation, Berkley Plant in Norfolk, Virginia. The first book lists ships, companies, and individuals, with the ships being listed alphabetically. The second book lists ships of the War Shipping Administration in chronological order. A few clippings, a small booklet, and a postcard are included with the order books.

One circa 1900 business card, one 1907 postcard, two circa 2000s histories, and photocopied deeds and plats relating to Garrett Winery in Berkley, Norfolk, Virginia. The collection also includes one miniature booklet on the history of Virginia Dare and one small decorative mirror advertising Virginia Dare wine, produced by Garrett's American wines.
