The Downtowner Newspaper
Scope and Contents
May 1988 to March 2015 newspapers of the free monthly publication The Downtowner, a Norfolk, Virginia newspaper with the motto, "a positive voice serving Greater Norfolk, including Ocean View & Olde Towne Portsmouth." The newspaper prominently features local businesses and entertainment in the greater Hampton Roads region. There are gaps in the collection, particularly from 2010-2015, and many volume numbers are incorrect. Issue Number 1 of each volume was usually not published because the paper did not publish in January.
