Jamestown Exposition Minute Books
Scope and Contents
Six 1902-1907 minute books of the Jamestown Exposition Company in Norfolk, Virginia. The collection includes typed minutes of the stockhholders (i.e. incorporators), Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Board of Governors. Each minute book includes an alphabetical index of topics in the front. The Board of Governors minutes are contained within three volumes. The minutes are sometimes signed by the recording secretary and approved by the chairman. This collection also includes a heavy metal logo embosser of the Jamestown Exposition Company seal.
