It appears the volume was then used by several individuals, primarily in 1842, and includes autographs, poetry, and various miscellaneous lines, many of which are written upside down in the ledger. Virginia Gordan Scrapbooks

Two 1860-1864 scrapbooks created by Virginia Gordan of Norfolk, Virginia containing clippings detailing the events of the Civil War, particularly the Confederacy. Scrapbook 1 was originally a circa 1852 account book belonging to Virginia Gordan's father, John Dozier Gordan, for his banking business at 29 Market Square.
