Receipts are for a wide variety of items including food, revenue taxes, boot repairs, postage, shoes, schooner transport of a barouche, repair of riding equipment, debts owed, small home-related repairs, an assurance policy, and sale of stock in the Dismal Swamp Land Company. Also includes two oversized receipts from the Mutual Assurance Society of Virginia.
