Grace O. Cornick Scrapbooks
Scope and Contents
Five circa 1960s-1970s scrapbooks compiled by Grace O. Cornick of Norfolk, Virginia. Scrapbooks 1-4 contain articles written by Cornick on various Norfolk history topics, including churches, hospitals, city government, schools, and historic houses and buildings. Scrapbook 5 contains clippings, ephemera, and photographs relating to Epworth United Methodist Church in Norfolk, Virginia. There are also "notes," both handwritten and typed articles, written by Cornick that appear in Scrapbooks 1-4, along with articles on topics not found in the scrapbooks. Finally, there is a 2002 transcription of Scrapbook 3 that was completed by Emilie Marie Hauser and Randy Miller.
